Can I play TOEM 2 regions out of order?
Stamps unlock the next bus. Plan Homelanda → Cropten/Cropton → Taletorp → Deltburg → Whirhill unless your build shows a different kiosk.
This TOEM 2 walkthrough is the stamp-gated chain for the 2026 sequel: Homelanda → Cropten/Cropton → Taletorp → Deltburg → Whirhill, then the TOEM event you actually came to photograph. The TOEM 2 walkthrough is a bus line with stamp tolls, not an open world you can finish in any sequence on day one. Each diorama teaches a verb the next one assumes: focus, scissors, hammer, pipes, hover cam. Exact in-game quest titles beyond the Homelanda teaching set stay TBA on this wiki until a journal dump — we will not invent names from stream chat.
| Stop | Recap quest count (confirm in journal) | What the stop is for |
|---|---|---|
| Homelanda | 3 | House, Nana, camera, jump/climb, first bus |
| Cropten / Cropton | 20 | Farm: gnomes, animals, jam, scissors jobs |
| Taletorp | 19 | Forest village, caves, potions, hammer, clouds |
| Deltburg | 17 | City: aquarium, sewers, pipes, odor museum |
| Whirhill | 1 | Late focus on a single leaf / TOEM event |
Farm copy uses Cropten and Cropton. Late-game copy uses Whirhill on this wiki; some lists print Whirlhill. Screenshot the in-game sign. Do not “correct” a save file to TOEM 1 town names.
It will not list sixty step-by-step puzzles. It will tell you which neighborhood you are in, which tool the jobs keep asking for, and which inner page owns the leftover collectibles. Next: actually leave the teaching island.
Homelanda is the prologue neighborhood: bedroom, kitchen, yard, roofs, bus stop. Launch-week journals list three stamp jobs. Published titles (not invented here): Photo of Nana, Take Flight, Critters to Adore. Clearing them is the Homey Happenings beat in achievement lists.

Home Sweet Home, Tato on the post boxes, a Forest Bird on a clock, a Fuzzpede on the house wall — those fill the compendium. They do not replace stamps. Climb anyway so later farm flags feel normal.
Clothes and extra animals can wait. The walkthrough’s job is to get you to the farm with jump, climb, zoom, and focus working. Return later if a ledge needs a gadget you do not have yet. Next stop is the farm belt — both spellings.
The farm hamlet is the first long TOEM 2 walkthrough chapter. Recaps put a large stamp page here (Flourishing Fulfillment if you clear the region’s quests). Public recaps agree on the flavor: runaway garden gnomes, muddy piglets, chickens, jam apples, scissors on vines, a windmill climb, scarecrows, and a “giant chicken” photo that is a visual joke, not a boss.
| Job type | What to bring | Why it stalls people |
|---|---|---|
| Gnome photos | Camera + roofs/undersides | Targets sit under decks and stairs, not in the field |
| Jam requests | Scissors + five apples per jar | Several jobs share one jam machine — farm apples before you chain them |
| Muddy animals | Water / wash spots in recaps | You photograph proof after cleaning, not a combat finisher |
| Climbing flag | Jump + climb | Goat-head NPCs repeat this verb in later towns |
| Focus clouds | Focus, not spray snapshots | A cloud can change shape before you shutter |
Scissors belong to plant, hair, and vine jobs. If a vine blocks a windshaft, you are in farm logic. Hammer and screwdriver wait; do not hunt city pipes yet.
The kiosk line “about 20 stamps to collect” is a region total, not always the bus fare. Ride when the attendant accepts you. 100% farm stamps are for completion, not the only legal exit. Next forest town assumes you can already climb and focus.
Taletorp is the forest village with tabletop-RPG flavor: tavern, knights, troll bridge, Crystal Caves, potions, carpentry. Launch-week lists put 19 stamp quests (Rural Retreat if you finish the set). If a job sounds geological or meteorological, focus before you wander into a wrong interior.

| If the request looks like… | Try this first |
|---|---|
| Carpentry / arch / bell | Help rebuild, then photograph or ring as asked |
| Potion / crying knight / wizard | Recipe + toadstools — do not skip the cooker |
| Catacombs / chalice | Use the tavern map; direction lists in third-party guides are easy to mistype — confirm in your HUD |
| Photo challenge nest | Climb the tower; street level will not frame it |
| Three goats at once | Back up for a wide shot from the entrance, not three sequential close-ups |
Launch-week articles print many Taletorp titles. This walkthrough will not copy that table. If your journal shows a title we have not screenshotted, trust the journal. Next city is where the demo lives.
Matched by build plan, shared topics, and guide progression — not random related links.
Deltburg is the dense city: Grand Aquarium, sewers, shops, comedy club, odor museum, pipe puzzles. Launch-week lists put 17 stamp quests (Waterway Wanderer if you clear them). The Steam demo is a subset of this neighborhood, not Homelanda and not a separate campaign.
Screwdriver or wrench (use the in-game label) moves water, clears keys from pipes, and feeds fish tanks. Hover cam / gimbal shows up when a request needs an awkward selfie or aerial. Hammer is less central than in Taletorp. Full gadget list: camera tools.
Odor museum: five smelly subjects (garbage, cheese, hanging shoes, a roof can, garlic — confirm in your build). Aquarium evolution board: photograph staged fish in order. Ghost / sewer keys. Fountain plumber chain. None of these are combat arenas.
If you only played Next Fest, you have not done Homelanda teaching or the farm. Buy-in walkthrough starts at the house, not the aquarium. Slice details: demo. After the city bus, the last stop is short.
Whirhill (Whirlhill in some lists) is the short finale. Launch-week quest tables list one stamp job: Experience Toem — use focus on the tree’s single leaf (silver leaf / whirling birch language in recaps). Map completeness, extra sights after the bloom, and group photos on a tripod stay TBA until we capture them.
If you spent the whole campaign on unfocused snapshots, this is where it fails. Taletorp clouds were practice. The birch is the test.
Return trips for critters and clothes are allowed in recaps once later regions open. Stamp gates are the story spine; collectibles are the 100% layer. Achievements that name a region usually mean “finish that region’s quest list,” not a hidden DPS check. Counts: achievements.
Next: read the five region blurbs before you hunt leftover collectibles. If a job is a gadget, open camera tools. If you only have the free city slice, stay on demo. Stamp math without a route: stamps.
Stamps unlock the next bus. Plan Homelanda → Cropten/Cropton → Taletorp → Deltburg → Whirhill unless your build shows a different kiosk.
No. Different towns, jump and climb, and camera attachments. Oaklaville routes will not help.
Inside Deltburg only. It is not Homelanda and it is not Whirhill.
Some recaps add five-region lists to about 60 jobs. Confirm your journal. Story buses usually accept a quota, not 100%.
Both appear in public copy. Use the in-game UI. This walkthrough lists both until we screenshot the sign.
Not on this page. Homelanda’s three titles are published and short. Later titles stay TBA here to avoid a fake dump.
